Compliance Officer - Fire

Salary: £ 40,124 to 41,276 (Appointment at the bottom of the band)
Location: Merthyr Tydfil - Hybrid
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: Full time - 4 Day working week

Are you our ideal candidate?

We’re looking for someone who will ensure that the programmes and works delivered by MVH and its contractors are compliant with all relevant regulations and best practice. You’ll also be involved with managing our specialist contractors to ensure that all related work streams are adequately resourced and delivered in a compliant manner

As our new Senior Compliance Officer, you’ll share our mutuals values and be passionate in providing safe homes for our tenants to live in.

You’ll act as a subject matter expert taking the lead role in developing and ensuring compliance with Fire Safety, Lifting Equipment etc and related procedures.

You’ll need to have a wealth of leadership experience as well as experience in contract and project management preferably in the Housing sector. You will need to have managed responsive and maintenance works on residential properties including estimating the scope, cost and duration of works and monitoring relevant budgets. We are looking for someone with experience and innovative idea’s around developing and managing customer driven services.
